MVCEF: I VOTE GREEN

I Vote Green

MVCEF's popular I VOTE GREEN sign, made of 8-foot-tall green letters, is a public demonstration of just how many Missourians are committed to voting green. The letters are now covered in signatures of the thousands of people who have pledged to vote with their environmental values in mind and to encourage their elected officials to support green legislation.

The letters have made appearances at a number of public events, such as the St. Louis Earth Day festival and the Green Homes and Renewable Energy Expo in St. Louis, and at the State Capitol building in Jefferson City. Among the signees are St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay and State Sen. Jeff Smith.  MVCEF plans to bring versions of the I VOTE GREEN letters to more events in the future.  We encourage event visitors to stop by and add their names!

In addition to encouraging the public to sign the giant letters, MVCEF also provides Missourians with information on how they can vote green in election years.  This includes learning about environmental issues affecting Missouri, supporting green legislation in the state General Assembly, and voting for pro-conservation candidates.
