Our Legislative Work

The laws enacted by the Missouri General Assembly have an enormous impact on our natural environment and on the health of our state's citizens. That's why Missouri Votes Conservation works hard to pass and support legislation that protects the environment.

Our legislative program includes:

Tracking and monitoring environmental bills currently moving through the legislature. The state legislative session ended May 14, 2010, please refer to our Legislative Wrap-Up to view some outcomes from the session.
Convening the Missouri Conservation and Environmental Alliance, a coalition of groups whose lobbyists advocate for sound environmental legislation in the state Capitol
Teaching citizens to lobby for the environment through our annual Conservation Lobby Day
